Calligraphy

Calligraphy has been popular in Hanoi, Vietnam in recent years. During Lunar New Year holidays, calligraphy exhibition is usually held in the Temple of Literature, once the country's most prestigious school.

It has been commercialised, too.

This young man was writing some well-meant characters (I guess) to be hung on some family's wall during the new year. Red certainly cheers up cold weather of the occasion.
